Curl up a circle image and stick partially to background. This holds in place the calendar portion.

More details.
Calendar portion slides in to holder. Change it every year. Word doc available upon request.

Two pieces of chipboard create the holder.

One strip shorter in width than the other, glued together.

Time to start the New Year with a desktop calendar. I made this with an 8x8 pad of Graphic45 'Place in Time' paper, black chipboard for backing and an easel stand. If you want a Word doc of the calendar to make your own, please email me.

Couture Shop - Maple Street Shops

Couture Shop
Couture Shop - side view

Couture Shop - window displays

This is a Couture Shop based on designs by Laura Denison. She will be making a number of different shops over the coming months. They are supposed to hold albums, but as I liked the idea of creating a little town, thought it would be great to just try making the shop without the album. Cannot wait for the other shops. The paper used is DCWV-Black Currant stack and the dress images are from Lady Couture paper stack.

Scrapbook Page using Thumbnail Images

Here is a neat idea. Don't know what to do with those thumbnail images you get when developing pictures? Use them in a layout with one focal point image.
A great way to use up the sheet and give an overall idea of what the event etc. was all about, using the least amount of space.

Shadow Box Layout - Indian Style

This layout was created using the 'Taj Mahal' stack from Provo Craft. The papers were perfect as this is a wedding gift and the paper truly depicts the vivid colors that are found in Indian weddings. Flowers are cut using Tattered Florals die from Tim Holtz. Vines are from a Sizzix die. The trim around the frame is an old lace I got from India.
